Workplace bullying and harassment have become a growing concern in many business organizations today. It’s only right for these issues to take center stage in conversations of work health and safety because they are greatly detrimental to the mental health of employees. Bullying and harassment are types of aggression that are often based on a person’s sex, race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, marital status, etc. When left unpunished, these create a culture of violence and fear in the organization, ultimately defeating the purpose of safe working space.
It’s still better to be a few steps ahead and prevent incidents of harassment before they even occur. This is what Workplace Bullying and Harassment Training is for. It aims to educate workers on their rights, roles, and responsibilities with regard to offensive language and irrational aggression in the workplace. It helps them understand the nature of these acts and be more mindful of their actions.
The course is provided online (self-learning) or interactive learning (video conference through zoom) , attendees have the freedom to learn the material in their own time and pace or instructor facilitated learning. The training is for everyone but this version is specifically beneficial for all workplaces.
